Leslie Cerier

leslie Leslie Cerier’s award-winning impressionist photography is her personal inspiration and healing. Taking the camera into the forest is a meditation for her, as she snaps shining images as sunlight dances on water. Many of her photographs of these natural jewels can be viewed from any angle; there is no “right side up”. When her father died of a brain tumor in 1985, she abandoned her promising photography career along with the toxic darkroom, to teach organic cooking.  jeweled-water-copyTwenty years later, she found new visions in the forest to explore her lifelong passion. Her photos are all taken outdoors with natural light, never digitally manipulated. Many Valley venues exhibit her work, and it is in permanent collections in hospitals, homes, and offices.
